FTC's Brill Floats Plan To Open Up Data Brokers' Dossiers

Law360, New York (June 26, 2013, 5:34 PM EDT) -- Federal Trade Commissioner Julie Brill on Wednesday launched an initiative to give consumers more control over the troves of personal information that data brokers collect and sell for marketing and other purposes, saying it would help make the industry more transparent.
