DOL Chief Asks 4th Circ. To Revive RJ Reynolds 401(K) Suit

Law360, New York (June 26, 2013, 7:45 PM EDT) -- A federal court's dismissal of an Employee Retirement Income Security Act class action against R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. threatens the law's deterrent effect against breaches of fiduciary duty, acting Secretary of Labor Seth Harris said Tuesday, urging the Fourth Circuit to revive the case.
