Kleiner Perkins Can't Ship Sex Bias Suit To Arbitration

Law360, New York (June 27, 2013, 2:25 PM EDT) -- Venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers LLC on Wednesday lost a bid to force a former partner's sex discrimination suit into arbitration when a California appeals court ruled her claims were not “intertwined” with the arbitration clauses in operating agreements she signed.
