Texas High Court Takes Up Union Carbide Asbestos Case

Law360, Dallas (June 28, 2013, 6:59 PM EDT) -- The Texas Supreme Court on Friday agreed to hear Union Carbide Corp.’s claim it should be able to avoid an asbestos exposure suit involving a former employee, with the company saying the man failed to submit required evidence of his lung function under a law enacted shortly after he died.
