Sham Sandy Charity Operators Settle With NJ

Law360, New York (June 28, 2013, 7:30 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey state judge on Friday approved a settlement with a husband and wife who embezzled funds from a purported Superstorm Sandy charity, barring the couple from future charity work and dissolving the charity as soon as $334,000 in contributions are refunded.
