Andersen Partner, SEC Settle Enron Audit Case

Law360, New York (January 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- A former partner at Arthur Andersen LLP who audited Enron Corp.'s financial statements has settled a civil action brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the SEC said Monday.

Three other former Andersen partners settled related administrative proceedings with the SEC connected to Enron.

David Duncan, who was a partner at Andersen and worked with the audits of the bankrupt energy company, agreed to settle the civil injunctive action. He did not admit or deny the SEC's allegations or findings.
