Copyright Office Launches New Application For Authors

Law360, New York (July 1, 2013, 5:13 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Copyright Office on Friday introduced a new application that the agency said will make it easier for authors to register their individual works.

The new application allows individual authors to register a single work, like one song, one poem or one photograph through an online form, according to a notice published in the Federal Register.
