Honda Minivans Probed Over Sudden Braking

Law360, New York (July 1, 2013, 5:31 PM EDT) -- The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened an investigation into more than 340,000 Honda Motor Co. Ltd. minivans that may suddenly brake on their own and decelerate by as much as 30 miles per hour.

NHTSA's Office of Defect Investigations launched the probe June 25 after it received 22 complaints related to unexpected braking in Honda Odysseys from model years 2007 and 2008.
