Texas Can't Escape Challenge To Redistricting Plan

Law360, Dallas (July 1, 2013, 9:39 PM EDT) -- A panel of Texas federal judges on Monday refused to dismiss a suit challenging a state redistricting plan adopted in 2011 and allowed the parties time to request that the court also consider a challenge to new election maps approved last week by the Legislature.
