Senate Panel OKs LGBT Nondiscrimination Bill

Law360, New York (July 10, 2013, 2:09 PM EDT) -- A Senate committee on Wednesday advanced a bill to bar employment discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity, opening the long-pending legislation up to a Senate floor vote for the first time since its introduction in 2001.
