ITC Probing Claims Thailand, India Are Dumping Steel Rod

Law360, New York (July 2, 2013, 3:09 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has agreed to investigate whether steel thread rod from India and Thailand, which is allegedly being subsidized by India's government and dumped on the U.S. market, has injured the American industry.

The ITC has commenced anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations into the foreign imports from the South Asian nations, according to a notice scheduled to be published in Wednesday's Federal Register.
