Dell, Sony Can't Escape Microprocessor IP Suit

Law360, New York (July 8, 2013, 2:00 PM EDT) -- An Illinois federal judge on Friday denied motions by Dell Inc., Sony Mobile Communications Inc. and other companies to dismiss an infringement suit over a patented system for translating binary code, rejecting their argument that the plaintiff lacked standing to sue because it didn't own the patent in dispute.
