Texas AG Asked To Define TWIA's Duty To Charge Insurers

Law360, Houston (July 8, 2013, 9:53 PM EDT) -- Texas’ top attorney was asked Friday to weigh in on whether a failure by the state’s troubled coastal windstorm insurance pool to assess private insurance companies fees to shore up its ability to pay claims amounts to negligence.

In his request to Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, Rep.
