Calif. Can't Cut Medicaid Services For The Poor: 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (July 8, 2013, 3:33 PM EDT) -- California laws that halt Medicaid coverage for certain services performed by rural health clinics for poor residents, including dental care and podiatry, are barred by the Medicaid Act, through which the federal government funds state health care services for low-income communities, the Ninth Circuit ruled Friday.
