2 More News Corp. Journalists Face Bribery Charges

Law360, New York (July 8, 2013, 5:49 PM EDT) -- U.K. prosecutors said Monday they planned to charge five more individuals as part of a sprawling corruption investigation into British tabloids, including two former journalists at newspapers owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. conglomerate.

The charges stem from Operation Elveden, a wide-ranging investigation into the allegedly rampant practice among News Corp. journalists of bribing police officers and other government officials for tips.
