Controversial Natural Gas Plant Secures Permit Extension

Law360, New York (July 9, 2013, 2:32 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency on Tuesday extended the construction permit deadline for an Avenal Power Center LLC natural gas power plant in California that has come under fire from environmental groups, who claim that the government is letting the company skirt air pollution standards.
