China Targets Tetra Pak In Antitrust Probe

Law360, New York (July 9, 2013, 5:00 PM EDT) -- Chinese antitrust authorities are investigating whether Switzerland-based food packaging giant Tetra Pak International SA has abused its dominance, a Chinese official said Friday, marking the country's second competition probe of a foreign company in less than a week.

China's State Administration of Industry and Commerce has called on 20 provincial and municipal industrial and commercial authorities to help it look into Tetra Pak's activities, Trade and Industry Secretary Zhang Mao said in the text of a speech published Friday.
