3rd Circ. Affirms Insurers' Wins In 'Kids For Cash' Case

Law360, New York (July 9, 2013, 4:59 PM EDT) -- The Third Circuit ruled Monday that Markel International Insurance Co. and others weren't obligated to cover operators of private juvenile-detention facilities in underlying suits alleging they paid two Pennsylvania judges $2.6 million in kickbacks to steer juvenile offenders to their facilities.
