Lawmakers Call On Mattel To Recall More Toys

Law360, New York (January 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Lawmakers have called on Mattel Inc. to reverse its decision not to issue a nationwide recall of toy medical kits with parts that contain lead.

In a letter sent Tuesday to Robert Eckert, Mattel's CEO and chairman of the board, 56 members of Congress questioned the company's commitment to product safety in light of the company's decision.
