Tribe's Former Accountant Avoids Civil Fraud Claims

Law360, Miami (July 10, 2013, 3:25 PM EDT) -- The former senior accountant for the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida has evaded civil fraud claims in a suit accusing her of taking part in conspiracies to defraud the tribe of millions of dollars, but a Florida state judge said other allegations, including breach of contract, could proceed.
