Contractor Sues Fla. County Over Sewer Project Solicitation

Law360, Miami (July 10, 2013, 8:00 PM EDT) -- A Florida-based engineering and consulting firm has asked a court to force Miami-Dade County to consider whether proposed contractors are minority-owned when seeking a firm to help complete $1.6 billion in upgrades to its sewer system under a settlement with federal and state environmental agencies.
