Aviva Settlement Class Can't Cash In On Pa. AG Suit: Judge

Law360, New York (July 11, 2013, 2:32 PM EDT) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Wednesday said class members in an Aviva USA multidistrict litigation over fraudulently marketed annuities who joined a settlement worth up to $530 million can't receive restitution from a lawsuit filed by Pennsylvania's attorney general because they've released their claims.
