Dana Wants Satisfied Claims Expunged

Law360, New York (January 31, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- In an effort to wind up its Chapter 11 proceedings, auto parts maker Dana Corp. has asked a bankruptcy court to expunge 45 pages of claims made by creditors, saying the company has already satisfied those claims.

In a motion filed on Jan. 30 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, Dana objected to numerous claims still pending in its bankruptcy case on the grounds that the company had already paid them.
