Lawyers In Guidant MDL Spar Over $45M Fee Request

Law360, New York (January 31, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Twenty-eight attorneys, representing more than 4,000 plaintiffs in the recently settled multidistrict litigation over Guidant Corp.'s implantable defibrillators, blasted the lead plaintiffs' counsel committee and members of the plaintiffs' steering committee on Wednesday for a $45 million fee request that they called excessive.
