Conrail Wants NJ Train Derailment Claims In Pa. Axed

Law360, Philadelphia (July 15, 2013, 6:35 PM EDT) -- Consolidated Rail Corp. told a Pennsylvania state judge Friday that it could not be found liable in a pair of lawsuits alleging that more than 100 plaintiffs were exposed to hazardous chemicals following a New Jersey train derailment, arguing that the company was legally required to accept its customers’ freight.
