EC VP Backs Merkel's Call For Data Protection Reform

Law360, New York (July 15, 2013, 6:46 PM EDT) -- The European Commission quickly offered its support on Monday for German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s call to enact tougher, unified data protection laws that would require greater transparency from Internet companies as to how they share their users’ personal information.
