K-V Pharma Gets Judge's Nod To Collect Ch. 11 Plan Votes

Law360, New York (July 16, 2013, 1:47 PM EDT) -- K-V Pharmaceutical Co. can now begin soliciting creditor votes for its Chapter 11 restructuring plan after receiving the go-ahead from a New York bankruptcy judge Tuesday and months of bouncing back and forth between two competing groups of interested investors.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Allan L. Gropper approved the women’s health care company’s disclosure statement, which will allow creditors to vote on the plan. All objections to the disclosure statement were either withdrawn or resolved before Tuesday’s court hearing.
