Louboutin No Longer Seeing Red In Knockoff Shoe Suit

Law360, New York (July 16, 2013, 3:58 PM EDT) -- Christian Louboutin has reached a deal with Charles Jourdan Fashion Footwear LLC to halt his lawsuit in New York federal court alleging that the company infringed his trademark by selling knock-off shoes with red soles synonymous with Louboutin's footwear.

U.S. District Judge Richard J. Sullivan signed off on Louboutin's motion to voluntarily dismiss the case with prejudice on Monday after the parties agreed on a resolution last week, according to Harley Lewin of McCarter & English LLP, an attorney for Louboutin, who did not provide details...
