Food Makers Needn't Add Lead Warnings In Calif., Court Says

Law360, New York (July 17, 2013, 7:27 PM EDT) -- Baby food makers including Dole Food Co. Inc. and Gerber Products Co. don't need to warn consumers under California's Proposition 65 that their products contain some amounts of lead because the amounts are lower than a state-threshold for the chemical, a California state judge said in a tentative decision Monday.
