6th Circ. Again Affirms Class Cert. In Whirlpool Washer Suit

Law360, New York (July 18, 2013, 1:36 PM EDT) -- The Sixth Circuit on Thursday upheld class certification in an action against Whirlpool Corp. over allegedly defective washing machines, ruling that the case differs from the U.S. Supreme Court's recent Comcast v. Behrend decision because the class was only certified on issues of liability, not damages.
