Turkish Co. Fights Steel Pipe Dumping Rate

Law360, New York (July 19, 2013, 5:44 PM EDT) -- Turkish manufacturer Borusan Mannesmann on Thursday challenged the U.S. Department of Commerce over the finding that it has dumped steel pipe on the American market, calling the results of the agency's review "absurd."

Borusan filed a motion with the U.S. Court of International Trade that disputes the methodology Commerce used to determine that the manufacturer had engaged in targeted dumping of steel pipe. The manufacturer is seeking to have the case remanded to recalculate its dumping margin.
