Texas Bucks New Challenges To Redistricting Maps

Law360, Dallas (July 22, 2013, 9:15 PM EDT) -- Texas on Friday told a federal court it shouldn’t allow plaintiffs in an ongoing challenge to the state’s election maps to amend their suit to include new maps approved by the Legislature in June, saying the existing suit is moot and the redistricting challenge should start from scratch.
