Apple Developers' Data Compromised Following Cyberattack

Law360, New York (July 22, 2013, 4:02 PM EDT) -- Apple Inc. said Sunday that an intruder had infiltrated its main website for app and software developers last week, compromising developers' personal information and forcing the company to overhaul its systems and server software.

In an email sent to third-party developers registered on the site, the technology giant explained that it had shut down the site on Thursday after discovering  “an intruder” had accessed the site in an attempt to secure the personal information of developers who use the technical manuals, chat forums and other features...
