NY To Grant Estate Tax Refunds To Same-Sex Spouses

Law360, Los Angeles (July 23, 2013, 9:46 PM EDT) -- Same-sex couples in New York are qualified for estate tax refunds on an equal basis as opposite-sex couples in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision that the federal Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo said Tuesday.
