Jon Secada Says Business Partner Breached Trademark Deal

Law360, Miami (July 24, 2013, 1:36 PM EDT) -- Jon Secada has sued his business partner and the company tasked with developing and licensing his trademarks in Florida state court, alleging they breached an agreement to market the Cuban-born singer-songwriter and develop business opportunities and products with his marks.

In a complaint filed July 18 in Palm Beach, Secada accused Delray Beach-based Secada Worldwide Licensing LLC and Hans Reinisch, who manages the company with Secada, of failing in their obligations under a licensing agreement.
