Sen. Eyes Bill On Standard-Essential Patent Import Bans

Law360, New York (July 30, 2013, 4:40 PM EDT) -- Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., warned Tuesday that it was time for lawmakers and enforcers to address competition concerns surrounding standard-essential patents, saying she was weighing legislation that would clarify whether the patents could be used to bar rivals' products from being imported into the country.
