EPIC Lacks Standing In Disclosure Expansion Suit, ED Says

Law360, Washington (July 24, 2013, 2:44 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Education urged a Washington federal judge Wednesday to toss the Electronic Privacy Information Center’s suit accusing the agency of violating privacy rights by expanding the public disclosure of student information, saying the group has no standing to sue.
