Senate Bill Would Ease Capital Regs For Community Banks

Law360, New York (July 24, 2013, 6:15 PM EDT) -- A bipartisan Senate bill introduced Tuesday would exempt community banks from increased capital and mortgage underwriting standards and expand the range of banks that can be considered small, community institutions.

The Community Lending Enhancement and Regulatory Relief Act, introduced by Sens.
