Chiquita Wants Colombian War Crimes Claims Tossed

Law360, New York (July 25, 2013, 1:44 PM EDT) -- Chiquita Brands International Inc. urged a Florida federal court Wednesday to reconsider rulings that kept alive two actions in multidistrict litigation concerning the company's payments to Colombian paramilitary and guerilla groups who allegedly murdered thousands, arguing subsequent appellate decisions have negated the rulings.
