IIl. Sues ExxonMobil Over Hydrogen Sulfide Release

Law360, New York (July 25, 2013, 7:09 PM EDT) -- Illinois on Thursday hit ExxonMobil Oil Corp. with a lawsuit alleging the oil giant’s refinery near Chicago violated the state’s Environmental Protection Act after an equipment malfunction caused an uncontrolled release of hydrogen sulfide in March.
