SEC Pulls Sheets Off Intimate Tourre Emails

Law360, New York (July 25, 2013, 8:49 PM EDT) -- Former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. trader Fabrice Tourre has a poetic side, jurors hearing the fraud case against him learned Thursday as the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission showcased intimate email exchanges with his former girlfriend.

SEC lawyer Matthew Martens walked Tourre, who has been testifying since Wednesday, through a series of private emails he had exchanged with onetime girlfriend Marine Serres, a Goldman salesperson.
