Bankrupt Life Uniform Secures Strategic $23M Sale

Law360, Wilmington (July 26, 2013, 7:23 PM EDT) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Friday blessed a deal between Missouri-based suppliers of hospital scrubs and medical uniforms, approving the sale of private equity-owned Life Uniform Holding Corp. to Scrubs & Beyond LLC for $22.6 million.

Life Uniform lined up Scrubs & Beyond as the stalking horse bidder prior to filing for Chapter 11, and the deal remained the highest and best offer for the company's assets, debtors' counsel Domenic E. Pacitti told the court in support of the proposed sale.
