SEC To Rest Its Tourre Case On Monday

Law360, New York (July 26, 2013, 7:09 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission will likely wrap up its fraud case against former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. trader Fabrice Tourre on Monday, the commission has indicated.

The SEC intends to present Michael Nartey, a former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. executive who testified on video, as its final witness in the case against Tourre, commission lawyer Bridget M. Fitzpatrick indicated Friday. The progress in the case means the jury will likely begin deliberations within days, as was initially planned.
