DuPont Inks Deal To Exit Paint Pigment Antitrust MDL

Law360, New York (July 29, 2013, 4:56 PM EDT) -- DuPont Co. has agreed to settle an antitrust class action accusing the chemical giant of conspiring to fix the price of a paint component, a group of paint companies suing for damages said Friday.

The plaintiffs told the Maryland federal court that they had reached an agreement in principle to settle all of their claims against DuPont, but would continue to press their case against the remaining defendants in the case, Kronos Worldwide Inc. and Millennium Inorganic Chemicals Inc.
