LA Atty Sues DePuy Over Allegedly Faulty Hip Implant

Law360, San Francisco (July 29, 2013, 3:19 PM EDT) -- Prominent Girardi Keese personal injury attorney Amy Fisch Solomon lodged her own personal injury lawsuit in California state court Thursday, accusing DePuy Orthopaedics Inc. of failing to warn her and other patients about the dangers of its faulty hip implants.

Solomon's complaint also goes after DePuy parent Johnson & Johnson Services Inc. and Thomas P. Schmalzried, who purportedly helped design and market DePuy's Pinnacle hip implant device.
