Firefighters In Contract Row Say Philly Must Enact Raises

Law360, Philadelphia (July 29, 2013, 3:38 PM EDT) -- A union representing Philadelphia firefighters launched an appeal Friday challenging a Pennsylvania state judge's order dismissing their civil contempt bid over the city's failure to comply with a November court order, currently on appeal, that affirmed an arbitrator’s decision awarding the workers a 3 percent jump in pay.
