Dallas Suburb Sued Over Vote To Drop Voting Rights Appeal

Law360, Dallas (July 29, 2013, 4:22 PM EDT) -- A man on Thursday accused the city Farmers Branch, Texas, of breaking state open meetings laws when it voted to drop its appeal of a federal court ruling that required the city council to hold single-member district elections under the Voting Rights Act.
