Tourre Trial To Close Tuesday

Law360, New York (July 29, 2013, 5:45 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission will begin closing arguments in its fraud case against former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. trader Fabrice Tourre on Tuesday, after Tourre’s defense team declined to call any witnesses.

U.S. District Judge Katherine B. Forrest set summations in the Tourre case to start Tuesday morning, setting aside the entire day for SEC arguments and counterarguments from Tourre’s team.
