Sanctions Bid Stymied In Pool-Product Antitrust MDL

Law360, New York (July 30, 2013, 4:28 PM EDT) -- A Louisiana federal judge refused Tuesday to impose sanctions against the direct purchasers that accused Pool Corp. and several manufacturers of trying to monopolize the market for swimming pool equipment in multidistrict litigation, finding the manufacturers' allegations that the plaintiffs wasted their time with useless depositions were unfounded.
