Law360, New York (July 31, 2013, 2:50 PM EDT) -- On July 10, 2013, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission adopted final rules amending Rule 506 of Regulation D and Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933 to implement Section 201(a) of the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act. The agency also adopted rules amending Rule 506 to implement Section 926 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
